I took a 9 month copywriter course during the fall 2013 to summer 2014 in Helsinki, during which we listened to a lot of lectures from prestigious advertising people and copywriters, and of course made our own assignments.
Assignment: come up with a script for a 30 second video/TV ad for ED energy drink. The following person should be present in the film:
So a good advertising idea is something which is easily grasped by the viewer or he/she can relate with the ad and that it is simple. In this concept not a lot is said, but at the end everybody can put together the video or the image and what was advertised. Creating an "Ahaa!/Of course!" moment is hard, but rewarding.

My idea:
The camera follows a little 2-3 year old girl, who is happily wrecking some havoc in the apartment. She draws on the floor and on the walls, pulls out all clothes from the drawers, messes clothes with a lipstick and spreads her snack all over her room. While she is drawing on the table the camera moves to the coach where her mother, totally exhausted from lack of sleep, is sleeping with a lot of marker on her face.
After this the screen goes black and the text "Stay focusED." appears, A voice also speaks out "Staz focused."
Feedback from Markku Rönkkö, one of the most appraised copywriters in Finland: "'Little girl' is a finished idea, and an excellent idea, as every parent knows, and I believe other can imagine, that this could happen and that it is true. 3 points." [3 points was the max score.]
